AMC60304 is a quad-channel EML monitor and controller with 200mA IDAC and multi-channel ADC

The AMC60304 is a highly integrated low power analog AD260AND-3 monitor and controller optimized for high current output. The device includes four 12-bit current output digital-to-analog converters (IDACs), a 12-bit, 1MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC), power and temperature alarm monitors, and a high precision internal reference.

The AMC60304 IDAC supports a full-scale output range of 200 mA and very low power consumption. These IDACs provide accurate current biasing without the need for external components.

The AMC60304 also includes four input pins multiplexed to the ADC and includes a low latency window comparator. These features make the device an excellent choice for Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and Loss of Signal (LOS) detection. The ADC is also able to measure the voltage on the IDAC pin, enabling monitoring of these outputs.

The low power consumption, high integration, very small size and wide operating temperature range of the AMC60304 make the device an excellent choice for integrated control circuits for optical modules.
